We have a variety of equipment available for loan that can be utilized in the classroom.

Types of equipment available for rent
PC, key for classroom AV rack, remote control, pen and eraser for electronic blackboard, power extension cable, CD deck, portable speaker, projector, wired microphone set, wireless microphone set, microphone stand, various conversion adapters (e.g., USB-C → HDMI), Zoom class speakerphone, webcam and PTZ camera for Zoom classes, HDMI capture and audio capture for Zoom classes, video camera, digital camera, tripod, voice recorder, laser pointer, instruction stick, external CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive, HDMI cables, OHPs, lighting fixtures, portable screens, MP4 recorders, XLR/phone/RCA cables, etc.

Same-day loan (return by 18:00 on the same day)
- Equipment can be rented out as early as 8:15 AM at the earliest, with prior application.
- If you wish to borrow books on a regular weekly basis, please let our staff know when you return them.
- Please return by 18:00 on the same day.

Scheduled loan (fixed weekly)
- We will prepare the same equipment every week according to the day and time of the class.
- Equipment can be rented out as early as 8:15 AM at the earliest.
- Please return by 18:00 on the same day.

short-term loan
- Short-term loans may be available for a few days to a week.
- Equipment may not be available for loan depending on the number of units in stock, frequency of use, first-come, first-served reservations, etc. Please contact us as soon as possible.

long-term loan
- As a general rule, equipment loaned out by the Support Office is not available for extended periods of time. Please make your own arrangements for equipment that you will need to have on hand on an ongoing basis.
- However, we may allow you to borrow the materials if you have unavoidable circumstances related to class preparation. Please contact us if you have any problems.
- Equipment may not be available for loan depending on the number of units in stock, frequency of use, first-come, first-served reservations, etc. Please contact us as soon as possible.

Installation of decks in classrooms
- A DVD/Blu-ray/VHS or other deck can be installed in your designated classroom for the duration of the semester in which classes are held.
- The number of DVD/Blu-ray/VHS decks is being phased out as video and audio are increasingly played on PCs. Please consult with us when it is easier to conduct classes with decks.
- Installation may not be possible due to deck availability, first-come, first-served reservations, etc. Please contact us as soon as possible.
