We assisted in setting up the hybrid for the 104th Annual Meeting of the Southeast Asian Studies Association. A hybrid discussion session was held as part of the program, and of the total of six speakers, five participated in person and one participated online from overseas.
Use of "preset positions" for ceiling cameras
- The ceiling camera in Prometheus Hall has a "preset position" function, which allows the camera to memorize patterns of camera pointing positions and zoom magnifications in advance.
- In setting up for this debate, the positions of the moderator and the five debaters were memorized in advance by the camera, allowing for quick camera work and a realistic online delivery that resembled a live TV broadcast.
