Online classes with a realistic feel as if the students are right in front of you

We received a request from a teacher who teaches a class that he wanted to give an online class with a realistic feel, as if the students were right in front of him. Here is how we set it up.

• In order to reproduce the "environment where students are right in front of you," which is common in face-to-face classes, a large electronic blackboard display was installed in the middle of the auditorium where students normally sit, facing the instructor. By projecting a large image of the students' faces on the display, we were able to create a realistic space.
• To allow the whiteboard to be used during class, the webcam was placed a short distance away, so that both the class participant himself and the whiteboard would be within the camera frame.
• Since we were told that slide materials would be shared, we set the PC screen and the electronic blackboard screen to "enhanced" mode so that the students' faces on the front electronic blackboard would not be obscured by the slide materials, and the slide materials were displayed on the PC screen at hand and shared with the online side. The front display always shows the student's face.
