Telepresence Mobile System (TMS) Call for Application Case Studies!

I want to conduct online classes and meetings easily, anytime, anywhere! TMS Simplified" is the answer to such needs.

Features of TMS

  • Online participants remotely control the cameras in the classroom, so there is no need to worry about camera work on the classroom side.
  • Preparation is easy because the camera and speakerphone can be carried with everything already set up.
  • Battery-powered, it can be used on the move.

Introduction to the latest equipment (with video)
  • Additional electronic blackboards have been introduced.
    Additional electronic blackboards have been installed. They are mainly located on the 2nd floor of the Research and Lecture Building. Please refer to the following page for classrooms with electronic blackboards. (See: Floor Map and List of Classroom Facilities) A simplified "Electronic Blackboard Manual" (in Japanese...) is available in each classroom.
The Educational Informatization Support Office provides a variety of support services to help teachers make use of audiovisual/ICT equipment in the classroom, such as lending out equipment and explaining how to use it.
Keys to classroom AV racks, PCs, and various other equipment are available for loan.
We provide support for classes by explaining how to use equipment and troubleshooting problems in the classroom.
This section introduces the facilities of each classroom in the Research and Lecture Building and how to use special equipment such as recording rooms.
We assist in the digitization of analog teaching materials and offer a variety of other services.
Request for Cooperation and Precautions
  • If you find any equipment malfunction or any trouble during class, please contact Room 202 (Tel 042-330-5417) on the spot or after class. Our staff will make rounds, but it may take some time to find the problem. We look forward to hearing from you.
  • Before returning a loaner PC, be sure to log out of all accounts and leave no personal information behind. Since many people will be using this equipment, please be careful about information security.

Scope of Services and Coverage

In principle, services such as "equipment loan" and "classroom support" provided by the Educational Informatization Support Office are based on the premise of "classroom" support.
